Mandatory EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)
Under royal decree, all properties advertised for rent in La Rioja must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (Certificado de Eficiencia Energética). The energy rating must be shown in all advertisements, and a copy given to the target tenant.
Habitability Certificate (Cédula de Habitabilidad)
Some regions require a valid Cédula de Habitabilidad. While national laws apply, the administrative requirement to present this varies by autonomous community.
