Bavaria Landlord Maintenance Obligations: Repairs, Habitability, and Rent Reduction

1. The Core Rule (§ 535 BGB) Under § 535(1) BGB, the landlord must provide the rental property in a condition suitable for its contractual use and maintain it in that condition throughout the tenancy. This covers:
