Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Landager ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Landager is a property management platform designed for independent landlords with 1–40 rental units. The Service includes property tracking, tenant management, lease administration, rent collection, maintenance management, expense tracking, and related features.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Starter Plan (Free): Manage up to 3 units with core features at no cost. No credit card required. No time limit.
  • Pro Plan ($10/month): Manage up to 15 units with advanced features including online rent collection, e-signatures, automated reminders, and priority support.
  • Premium Plan ($50/month): Manage up to 40 units with all Pro features plus VIP support.

Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

5. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. All payments are non-refundable. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

6. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Landager, including property, tenant, lease, financial, and document records. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide advance notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Landager shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Data Processing and GDPR

If you operate within the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), or process data of tenants residing in those regions, you agree that you are the Data Controller of the tenant data you input into Landager, and Landager acts solely as your Data Processor. You must ensure you have a lawful basis for collecting and entering this data into our Service.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request a full export of your data.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction. However, as Landager is owned and operated by an independent freelancer, any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the freelancer resides at the time the dispute arises, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
