A commercial lease for non-residential premises must be executed in writing.

The lease must unambiguously specify the subject matter (the exact premises), the precise purpose and scope of the lease, the rent amount and due dates, and the lease duration. A detailed physical Handover Protocol is universally recommended to limit dilapidation disputes.
