In Slovakia, landlords must meet specific disclosure requirements:

1. Tax Registration

Under the Act on Short-Term Lease, landlords must register for taxes on rental income. If requested, the landlord must present proof of this tax registration to the tenant.

2. Handover Protocol and Defects

Landlords must inform tenants of any known defects prior to signing. A detailed Handover Protocol should be signed at move-in to document the exact condition of the unit.
