Property management has too many moving deadlines for any human brain to track reliably. Landager's Reminders System provides automated alerts for the critical dates you can't afford to miss.

Reminder Types

1. Rent Due & Arrears

Automatically triggers within 3 days before the due date to remind tenants that payment is expected. If rent is late, tenants receive past-due and overdue notices, while landlords receive a weekly arrears digest on Mondays and overdue alerts at 14 and 30 days.

2. Lease Expiry

Triggers automatically before a lease's End Date, giving you advance notice to initiate renewal conversations. Landlords are emailed at 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before (only the nearest stage is sent), and tenants at 60, 30, 14, and 7 days.

3. Maintenance Reminders

For recurring maintenance tasks, vendors receive a notice 7 days before each occurrence, and landlords receive a reminder 2 days before. Vendors also get a visit reminder 1 hour before a scheduled visit.

4. Custom Reminders

Custom reminders cannot be created in Landager. The system relies entirely on automatic, event-driven notifications to keep you and your tenants on track.

Delivery Channels

Reminders are delivered exclusively through:

  • Email: All automatic reminders, notices, and alerts are sent via email. There are no SMS or push notifications. Tenants can unsubscribe via a link in the email, and landlords can turn off notifications in Settings.

Configuration

All reminders in Landager are completely automatic. There is no standalone Reminders page and nothing to configure except opting out. The system automatically handles the timing for rent due dates, grace periods, lease expirations, and recurring maintenance schedules (which can be set to weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually).

The Value of Structured Reminders

The difference between a professional property manager and a disorganized one is often just timely follow-up. A missed lease renewal conversation means a month of unexpected vacancy. A forgotten maintenance task means a frustrated tenant. Automated reminders are the safety net that catches everything your busy schedule might drop.
