When uploading attachments to expense records, Landager accepts a broad range of file formats to accommodate different scanning hardware, phone cameras, and accounting software.

Supported Image Formats

  • JPEG / JPG: The most common photo format. Perfect for phone camera snapshots of paper receipts.
  • PNG: Higher quality images. Ideal for screenshots of digital invoices.
  • WebP: A modern compressed image format supported by most devices.
  • HEIC: The default photo format on newer iPhones. Landager accepts these directly—no conversion needed.

Supported Document Formats

  • PDF: The universal standard for invoices, contracts, and formal documents. Supports multi-page scans.
  • DOC / DOCX: Microsoft Word documents. Useful for contractor estimates or internal cost breakdowns.

File Size Limits

  • Maximum: 30 MB per individual file.
  • Typical Receipt Photo: 2–5 MB (well within the limit).
  • Multi-page Scanned PDF: 5–15 MB (well within the limit).

Tips for Clean Uploads

  1. Flatten multi-page receipts: If a vendor gives you a 3-page stapled invoice, scan all pages into a single PDF rather than uploading 3 separate JPEGs. This keeps the attachment list clean.
  2. Ensure readability: Before uploading a phone photo of a receipt, verify the text is legible. Blurry, unreadable receipts are useless during an audit.
  3. Name your files: Before uploading, rename files to something descriptive (e.g., plumber-invoice-unit3a-march2026.pdf instead of IMG_4521.jpg). This makes attachments easier to identify later.
