How to Upload Receipts and Invoices
Digitize your receipts by uploading photos, PDFs, and documents directly to expense records. Supports up to 30 MB per file.
The IRS requires documented proof for every business expense deduction. Landager eliminates the shoebox of crumpled receipts by letting you attach digital files directly to each expense record.
How to Upload an Attachment
- When creating or editing an expense, locate the Attachments section on the form.
- Click "Upload File" or drag and drop a file into the zone.
- The file uploads to secure cloud storage.
- You can add multiple attachments per expense (e.g., the vendor invoice AND the bank transfer confirmation screenshot).
File Size Limit
Each individual file can be up to 30 MB. This is generous enough to accommodate:
- High-resolution photos of handwritten receipts
- Multi-page scanned invoice PDFs
- Detailed contractor estimate documents
Why Upload Receipts?
1. Tax Season Simplicity
When your CPA asks for proof of the $3,400 HVAC repair, you simply export your expense data, find the row, and download the attached invoice. Done in 30 seconds.
2. Vendor Disputes
If a plumber's invoice says $175, but your bank statement shows $200 was charged, having the original invoice PDF attached in Landager gives you immediate ammunition for the dispute.
3. Insurance Claims
After a natural disaster, insurance companies require itemized proof of repair costs. Having every repair receipt digitally organized by property and date makes the claims process dramatically faster.
Mobile Uploading
Because Landager is mobile-responsive, you can snap a photo of a paper receipt on your phone and upload it directly to the expense record while standing in the hardware store. No need to save the physical receipt or remember to scan it later.
