Setting Up Your Landager Account

A step-by-step guide to creating your Landager account using email and password or Google OAuth, configuring your profile, and preparing your workspace for property management.

Creating your Landager account is the first step toward organizing your rental business. The process takes less than two minutes, and the Free plan requires no credit card at all.

This guide walks you through the registration process and the immediate steps you should take to set up your new dashboard.

Step 1: Registration

Navigate to the Sign Up page. You have two options for creating an account:

Option A: Email + Password

  1. Enter your Full Name. Use your actual legal name or your primary business contact name, as this will appear on your profile and reports.
  2. Provide a valid email address. This will be used for password resets and platform notifications.
  3. Create a strong password. We recommend at least 12 characters combining letters, numbers, and symbols. Your password is securely hashed using bcrypt before storage — we never store plaintext passwords.
  4. Click "Create Account."

Option B: Google Sign-In (One-Click)

For a faster experience without remembering another password, click the Sign in with Google button. This links your Google account to Landager instantly.

Landager remembers your last-used sign-in method. The next time you visit the login page, the option you used previously will be highlighted so you can sign in even faster.

Step 2: Welcome Page & Onboarding

After your account is created, you will be redirected to the Welcome page with getting-started guidance. The onboarding flow will prompt you to create your first property.

Once your first property is created, the full dashboard unlocks and you can begin managing your portfolio.

Step 3: Configuring Your Profile

Before adding properties, take a moment to ensure your profile details are accurate.

  1. On the left-hand sidebar, click on Settings.
  2. Under the Profile section, you can:
    • Update your Full Name
    • Add your Email and Phone number
    • Upload a professional Avatar or company logo
    • Set your preferred Language/Locale
    • Configure your default Rent Due Day (1st through 28th of each month)

Step 4: Password Security

If you registered with email and password, you can change your password anytime from the Settings page. If you ever forget your password, Landager offers a secure reset flow:

  1. Click "Forgot Password" on the login screen.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Receive a time-limited OTP (one-time password) via email.
  4. Verify the OTP and set a new password.
