Completing Your Profile for a Professional Setup
How to configure your Landager profile with your name, avatar, contact info, preferred language, and default rent settings for a polished, professional property management dashboard.
Your Landager profile is the foundation of your dashboard experience. Taking a few minutes to fill it out completely ensures your account looks professional and that default settings are configured for your needs.
1. Profile Information
Your profile details appear across the dashboard and in exported reports.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Under the Profile section, complete the following:
- Full Name: Enter your legal name or business name (e.g., "John Doe" or "Apex Property Management").
- Email: Your primary contact email address.
- Phone: Your contact phone number.
- Click Save to update.
2. Uploading Your Avatar
A profile photo or company logo adds a professional touch to your dashboard.
- In the Profile section of Settings, find the Avatar upload area.
- Upload a square image:
- Solo Landlords: A professional, well-lit headshot works best.
- Companies/LLCs: Upload a high-resolution company logo.
- Your avatar appears in the dashboard navigation and helps quickly identify your account.
3. Setting Your Preferred Language
Landager's entire interface is available in multiple languages. To switch:
- In Settings, find the Language/Locale option.
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown.
- Supported languages include English, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Bulgarian, and more.
- All labels, buttons, messages, and navigation will update immediately.
4. Configuring the Default Rent Due Day
Set when rent is due across your portfolio:
- In Settings, find the Rent Due Day option.
- Select a day from the 1st through 28th of each month.
- This default applies when creating new leases, though you can override it per individual lease.
Setting this now saves time every time you create a new lease.
5. Subscription Overview
Your Settings page also shows your current subscription status:
- Current Plan: Free or Pro
- Subscription Status: Active or inactive
- Unit Limit: How many units your plan supports
If you need more capacity, you can Upgrade to Pro directly from here via Lemon Squeezy.
Why a Complete Profile Matters
- Exported Reports: PDF and Excel exports from the dashboard include your profile information.
- Professional Appearance: A completed profile with an avatar makes your dashboard feel polished and organized.
- Correct Defaults: Setting your language and rent due day upfront prevents repetitive configuration when adding new leases.
Once your profile is complete, you're ready to start building your portfolio using the Layer Cake Method.
