Physical filing cabinets pose a risk of fire, flood, and misplacement. Landager acts as your digital filing cabinet by allowing you to attach the actual, signed PDF contract directly to the digital lease record.

Supported File Types and Limits

  • Allowed Formats: .pdf, .doc, .docx
  • File Size Limit: Up to 30 MB per file.
  • Quantity: You can upload multiple documents to a single lease (e.g., the primary lease, a pet addendum, and a lead paint disclosure).

How to Upload a Document

  1. Navigate to the Leases list.
  2. Click on the active lease to open its Detail View.
  3. Locate the Documents section.
  4. Click the "Upload Document" button (or drag and drop a file into the zone).
  5. Give the document a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Sarah Smith - Signed 2026 Lease").
  6. Click Save.

Why Upload Here?

While you could store these files in a separate Google Drive or Dropbox folder, uploading them directly into Landager provides contextual perfection.

If a tenant disputes a pet fee three months into their tenancy, you don't need to hunt through external folders. You simply click their Tenant Profile, open their Lease, and the signed PDF containing the pet addendum is staring right at you.

Security Note

Documents uploaded to Landager are stored securely in cloud-native object storage, completely segregated from public web access. Only authenticated dashboard administrators with access to your account can download or view these sensitive legal contracts.

All lease-specific documents are also automatically aggregated and searchable via the global Documents Hub.
