How Automated Invoicing Works

When you create an active lease, Landager takes over the invoicing. The system relies on two main settings from the lease:

1. Rent Amount: The regular monthly due.
2. Rent Due Day: The day of the month rent is expected.

Every single month, Landager automatically generates a clean, professional rent invoice for every active tenant on their precise Due Date.

What about End-of-Month due dates? If a lease says rent is due on the 31st, Landager automatically adjusts it for shorter months. For example, in February, the invoice perfectly aligns to the 28th (or 29th for a leap year).

Hands-Free Late Fees

Chasing late rent shouldn't be your job. Landager handles late fees and reminders based on the exact grace period and fee structure defined in your Lease Agreement.

• Daily Monitoring: Every day, the system checks the calendar against unpaid invoices.
• Automated Late Status: Once a tenant surpasses their grace period, the system instantly sets their payment status to Late.
• Automatic Calculation: Landager adds the exact flat fee or percentage late fee (defined in the lease) to their total balance.
• Polite Nudges: Automated email reminders are sent to the tenant in their local currency, politely informing them of the updated balance due.

Intelligent Partial Payments

If a tenant pays part of their rent, you don't need to create complex accounting strings. Simply update their actual Paid Amount in the system.

If the Paid Amount is less than the Total Amount Due, Landager's engine automatically tags the payment with a Partial status. It keeps the exact difference mathematically open for future collection and records the shortfall securely. When the tenant pays the remainder, update the Paid Amount to equal the Total Amount Due, and the system instantly transitions the badge to Paid.
