Using the Dashboard for Daily Task Prioritization
A practical workflow guide for using your Landager dashboard as a daily task manager. Learn what to check first, second, and third every morning.
Property management is chaotic. There are always five things that need attention simultaneously. The Landager dashboard is designed to help you decide what to do first.
The 60-Second Morning Check
Every workday, open your dashboard and answer these three questions in order:
Question 1: Did Everyone Pay Me? (10 Seconds)
Look at the Revenue Snapshot.
- If Collected Revenue matches Expected Revenue: ✅ Move on.
- If there's a gap: You have outstanding rent. Open the Payments page and follow up with the non-paying tenants before doing anything else. Cash flow is king.
Question 2: Is Anything Broken? (10 Seconds)
Look at the Open Maintenance Count.
- If the number is the same as yesterday or lower: ✅ Vendors are doing their jobs.
- If the number is higher than yesterday: A new issue was reported. Click through to the maintenance page and check if it's an Emergency that needs immediate attention.
Question 3: Did Anything Unexpected Happen? (40 Seconds)
Scroll down to the Recent Activity Feed and skim the last 24 hours of entries.
- Look for any actions you didn't personally authorize.
- Look for lease terminations, payment deletions, or property modifications that seem unusual.
- If everything looks clean: ✅ Your portfolio is running smoothly.
After the Morning Check
If all three questions pass, your dashboard has just confirmed that:
- Your cash flow is healthy.
- Your physical assets are maintained.
- Your database integrity is intact.
You can now move on to proactive tasks (lease renewals, vendor negotiations, vacancy marketing) instead of reactive firefighting.
The End-of-Month Ritual
On the last day of the month, perform a deeper version of this check:
- Verify the Revenue Snapshot shows 100% collection.
- Ensure all open maintenance requests have been closed or explicitly carried over.
- Run a quick PDF export of the month's financial data for your records before the dashboard resets on the 1st.
