Can I Export Dashboard Data as Excel?

While you may want an Excel export for manipulation, Landager currently does not support exporting data to Excel or CSV formats in the UI. If you need to run your own formulas, create pivot tables, or import data into external accounting software, you will need to manually enter your data. Instead, you can generate comprehensive PDF reports.

How to Generate an Excel Export

Excel exports are not currently available. To generate a PDF report instead:

1. Navigate to the Reports page under "Management" in the sidebar.
2. Generate a PDF report for your portfolio, properties, units, payments, expenses, or maintenance.
3. Your browser will download a .pdf file.

What Data is Included?

While there is no Excel export, the PDF report contains comprehensive data for your portfolio, including:

• Portfolio, Properties, and Units
• Payments (income is the money actually received in the period, split into rent, late fees, and maintenance charges)
• Expenses
• Maintenance

Best Use Cases for Excel Exports

1. Custom Financial Modeling

Since Excel export is not available, you will need to manually input data from your PDF reports into your own spreadsheets to calculate metrics Landager doesn't natively track, such as net operating income (NOI) per property or cap rate calculations.

2. QuickBooks / Xero Integration

Landager does not offer bank feeds or Excel/CSV exports. If your accountant prefers to work in QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks, data will need to be entered manually from your PDF reports.

3. Year-End Tax Tabulation

At the end of the fiscal year, use the PDF reports to review your expenses and calculate your Schedule E deductions.

4. Portfolio Comparison

If you manage properties across multiple Landager accounts (e.g., one per LLC), you can generate PDF reports for each account to compare performance across your entire empire.

Data Integrity Note

[!TIP] The PDF report is a snapshot of the moment you generated it. Any changes made to your data after the export will not appear in the downloaded file. For an updated version, simply generate the report again.
