What is Document Management in Landager?

Beyond lease PDFs and expense receipts, property management involves a mountain of supplementary paperwork: compliance notices, insurance certificates, HOA documents, parking permits, and more.

Landager's Document Management system provides a centralized hub for storing and tracking all of these files.

What You Can Store

The document hub accepts any file type you need to archive:

• Legal Notices (eviction notices, lease violation warnings, non-renewal letters)
• Insurance Certificates (property liability, flood insurance, umbrella policies)
• HOA Documents (bylaws, meeting minutes, assessment notices)
• Government Compliance (lead paint disclosures, fire inspection certificates)
• Receipts and Amendments (addendums to leases, pet agreements, parking agreements)

Document Status Tracking

Each document can be tagged with a lifecycle status:

• Draft: You've created or uploaded the document but haven't delivered it yet.
• Sent: The document has been delivered to the relevant party.
• Partially Signed: Multi-party documents where some signers have completed but others haven't.
• Signed: All parties have fully executed the document.
• Expired: The document's validity period has passed.

Tracking Signers

For documents requiring signatures (e.g., lease amendments), you can track which parties need to sign and which have already completed the process.

How Documents Differ from Lease Attachments

Lease Attachments are files contextually tied to a specific lease period. The Document Management hub is for general property-related files that may span multiple leases or apply to the property as a whole.

For example: A fire inspection certificate applies to the building, not a specific tenant's lease. It belongs in the Document Hub.
