Viewing Attached Receipts from the Expense Table

How to quickly access and download uploaded receipts and invoices directly from the expenses list without opening each record individually.

After uploading receipts, you need an efficient way to access them. Landager provides quick access to attachments directly from the expense table.

Accessing Attachments

  1. Navigate to the Expenses page.
  2. Locate the expense entry in the table.
  3. Expense records with uploaded attachments display an attachment indicator (paperclip icon or file count badge).
  4. Click on the expense row to open the Expense Detail View.
  5. Scroll to the Attachments section to see all uploaded files.
  6. Click on any file to preview or download it.

Bulk Review Workflow

During tax season, you often need to review multiple receipts across dozens of expenses. Here's an efficient workflow:

  1. Navigate to the Expenses page.
  2. Filter by date range (e.g., "January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025").
  3. Sort by Amount descending (largest expenses first—the IRS is most interested in your biggest deductions).
  4. Click through each expense with an attachment icon.
  5. Verify the attachment matches the logged amount.
  6. Download any receipts your CPA needs.

Missing Attachment Warning

If you scan through your expense list and notice entries without attachment icons, those represent undocumented expenses. While they're logged in Landager digitally, they lack the physical invoice proof that the IRS requires for deductions.

We recommend reviewing your expense list monthly and immediately uploading any missing receipts before the paper originals get lost.
