Decoding Lease Details

Landager does not have a separate Lease Detail View, Property ViewPreview unavailable, or Tenant ViewPreview unavailable. Instead, contracts are managed directly in the Leases table, which serves as the definitive record of the financial and legal agreement between you and your tenant.

The Header Record

The lease row provides instant visibility into the core terms of the contract:

• Tenant Name and Unit
• Status Badge: Clear indicator if the lease is Scheduled, Active, Expired, or Terminated.
• Start Date & End Date

From the row, you can Edit the termsPreview unavailable inline, terminate the lease, or delete the contract entirely (if it has no payments).

The Financial Terms Panel

When editing a lease inline, you can view the financial snapshot detailing exactly what is owed under this agreement:

• Monthly Rent Amount
• Security Deposit: Tracked as a ledger showing collected amounts, deductions, refunds, and funds carried over for renewals.
• Late Fee Rules: Details exactly when a late fee triggers (grace period in days) and how much to charge (fixed amount or percentage of base rent).

Navigating the Associated Data Tabs

Because a lease ties everything together, you can access related operational data directly from the relevant sections of Landager, rather than through tabs on a detail page.

1. The "Payments" Tab

There is no payments tab on the lease. Instead, rent charges and payments are managed on the Payments page, where you can expand any charge row to see its payment history.

2. The "Documents" Tab

There is no separate documents tab or hub. However, you can attach a lease document directly to the lease record to serve as your digital filing cabinet for the primary signed agreement.

3. The "Condition Photos" Tab

While there are no distinct "Move-In" and "Move-Out" galleries, you can attach photos directly to the lease record to keep visual evidence of the unit's condition and help you decisively win security deposit disputes.

When resolving a dispute—whether it's about a late fee calculation, a missing pet addendum, or a scratch on the hardwood floor—your inline lease records are your definitive source of truth. They aggregate the legal contract, the financial terms, and the photographic evidence into a single row in your Leases table.
