How to Share a Payment Receipt with a Tenant

Professional landlords provide receipts. Landager makes this effortless with a built-in receipt sharing capability that lets you send a clean payment confirmation to the tenant.

How to Share a Receipt

1. Navigate to the specific Payment Receipt view.
2. Click the "Share Receipt" button.
3. The system generates a shareable format of the receipt (a formatted summary or downloadable document).
4. You can then:
   • Copy the receipt data and paste it into an email.
   • Download it and attach it to a message manually.
   • Print it and hand the physical copy to the tenant.

What the Shared Receipt Includes

The tenant-facing receipt includes only the information they need to verify:

• Your Property Management Name (from your profile)
• Tenant Name and Unit Address
• Payment Amount Received
• Date Payment Was Made
• Payment Method Used
• Payment Status (Paid, Partial, etc.)

[!NOTE] Private internal notes you added to the payment (e.g., "Tenant was 5 days late, consider not renewing") are not included in the shared receipt. Only factual transaction data is shared.
