How Tenants Receive Payment Receipts

Professional landlords provide receipts. Landager makes this effortless by automatically emailing a payment receipt to your tenant as soon as you record a payment.

How Tenants Get Receipts (and How to Download Invoices)

1. When you click "Mark Paid" and record a payment on the Payments page, Landager automatically emails a receipt to the tenant.
2. There is no "Share receipt" button because the process is entirely automatic.
3. If you need a physical copy or a detailed breakdown, you can click the "Invoice" button on any payment row.
4. This downloads an itemized PDF that you can print or save for your records.

What the Invoice Includes

The downloaded PDF invoice includes the factual information needed to verify the transaction:

• Rent and Maintenance Charges
• Late Fees
• Total Due
• Amount Paid
• Remaining Balance

[!NOTE] Private internal notes you added to the payment (e.g., "Tenant was 5 days late, consider not renewing") are not included in the automatic receipt or the downloaded invoice. Only factual transaction data is shared.
