Landager is a cloud-based web application. No app store downloads required — simply log in from any web browser on any device, and the interface intelligently adapts to your screen size.

This means you always have access to the same features whether you're at your desk or standing in a rental unit.

The Desktop Experience: Your Command Center

On a laptop or desktop, the interface takes full advantage of the wide screen:

  • Persistent Sidebar: The global navigation sidebar is always visible on the left, allowing instant access to Properties, Tenants, Payments, Expenses, Maintenance, and all other modules.
  • Data-Dense Tables: Property lists, tenant directories, payment ledgers, and expense tables display in multi-column format. You can scan large amounts of data quickly, filter by status, and sort datasets.
  • Dashboard Metrics: All metric cards, revenue snapshots, and the activity feed are displayed simultaneously, giving you a complete view of your portfolio health.
  • Document Management: Desktop is ideal for heavy administrative tasks like creating leases, uploading lease documents and condition photos, and reviewing expense attachments.

The Mobile Experience: On-the-Go Management

On smartphones, the application restructures itself for touch-friendly use:

  • Hamburger Navigation: The persistent sidebar collapses behind a three-line menu icon in the top-left corner, giving your screen space entirely to content.
  • Optimized Layouts: Tables and data views adapt to narrower screens, making it easy to browse properties, tenants, and payment records with your thumb.
  • Camera-Ready Uploads: The mobile experience is perfect for maintenance inspections. If you spot an issue while walking a property, you can open a maintenance request, tap "Upload Photo", and your phone's camera launches to attach the evidence. This also works for uploading expense receipts on the spot.
  • Quick Actions: Need to call a tenant? Tap their phone number in their profile and your phone dialer opens. Need to email a vendor? Tap their email address.

Which Should You Use?

For initial setup, we recommend using a desktop or laptop. Creating multiple properties, defining units, and setting up leases is much faster with a mouse and keyboard.

For day-to-day management, the mobile experience handles most tasks perfectly — logging a quick rent payment, checking your dashboard metrics, reviewing a maintenance request, or uploading a receipt from a hardware store parking lot.

Both experiences support all features including Dark Mode. (Read more about Switching Themes)
